IMPORTANT NOTICE for all Returning Applicants
We have implemented an upgraded applicant tracking system as of Monday, August 8, 2016. Applicant profiles created in the MCCCD jobs system prior to August 8, 2016, were not migrated to our new system. Please take a moment to register as a new applicant when applying for MCCCD positions. The improved application process is easy to use and only takes a few minutes to complete.
If you are called for an interview, and you need an accommodation to participate, please inform the caller, who will then coordinate your request with the HR Solutions Department.
Please ensure that you are logged into HCM!
Once you are logged in, follow this navigation path: Main Menu>Self Service>Recruiting>Careers to view and apply for jobs.
Remember: Jobs will post throughout the week (Monday thru Friday) and weekly emails will no longer be distributed to advise you of internal job opportunities. You will go into Self Service to search for job openings AND you will also have the option to create your own job agent that will notify you as soon as a job with matching criteria has been posted. Use these step by step instructions to create your job agent.
As of March 1, 2008, background checks are conducted for new employees to the Maricopa Community College District for most positions. The background check will consist of a Social Security Trace/Address Verification, a Criminal History Search, and a Sex Offender Check. Depending on the position, a Consumer Credit Report could be ordered. As per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you may obtain a copy of your rights by contacting us.
Information about you that is available on the internet may be considered.
As of Jan. 1, 2008, Maricopa Community Colleges is participating in the E-verify program. Maricopa will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with information from each new employee's Form I9 to confirm work authorization.
Maricopa Community Colleges is undergoing a review of all staff positions and titles, known as a classification and compensation study. As a result of this review, official job titles for currently posted positions could change. Any such change will be effective October 16, 2017. This review does not impact the job duties and has no impact on starting salary. This review is applicable for all currently posted, full time staff positions, including short term and specially funded positions. Faculty positions are not impacted by this review.
The purpose of this study is to develop an equitable, consistent, and competitive classification and compensation plan district-wide. The study allows Maricopa to attract and retain talent, create opportunities for growth and development within an appropriate salary structure framework that is flexible and responsive to changing economic conditions, supports the mission and vision of Maricopa, and is fiscally responsible.
